Bambara is happy to accommodate parties of all sizes. Whether it’s a birthday party for ten or a wedding reception for one hundred, we have the perfect dining space for your next event! Our semi-private mezzanine overlooks the restaurant’s dining room and exhibition kitchen. Accented with local Cambridge art, our spacious mezzanine can seat up to 50 guests or host up to 40 for a reception in a venue that is approachable and flexible enough for any occasion. You can also reserve the whole restaurant for large functions with seating up to 120 people. Our lobby bar features a private bar with an intimate fireplace. Bambara Bar

Ideal for those time-to-get-out-of-the-house happy hours, after work meet-ups, and everyday celebrations, our bar area fits 24 seated guests and up to 40 for a reception-style event.

Semi-Private Mezzanine

The perfect locale for any occasion, from rehearsal dinners to retirement parties, our mezzanine dining area hosts 60 seated guests and up to 80 for a reception-style event.

Bambara Takeover

For larger groups looking toward a private option, host a dynamic event for up to 100 using the entire restaurant. Interested in adding a little extra fun? Ask us about ways we can activate the space for your guests.

I HAVE A GUEST WITH DIETARY RESTRICTIONS, WHAT CAN THEY EAT?
We can accommodate all kinds of dietary restrictions. Please let us know in advance and we’d be happy to have something special prepared.

WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO PARK?
The Cambridge Side Galleria Parking Garage has plenty of parking options for your guests and there is inside access to directly to the hotel.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
Yes, to reserve our semi-private areas we require a 50% deposit to hold the space.

IF WE HAVE AN EVENT HOW LONG DO WE HAVE THE SPACE?
With exclusive access to the space, you are welcome to enjoy it during our normal hours of operation. If you think you need additional time, just let us know in advance.

DOES THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE MINIMUM INCLUDE TAX AND GRATUITY?
No. All contracted private and semi-private events are subject to 7% sales tax, 20% gratuity, and a 4% administration fee.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELATION POLICY?
We have a progressive cancelation policy that begins 30 days before your event: 15 - 30 days - 50% of total charges due 8 - 14 days - 75% of total charges due 7 days or less - 100% of total charges due

WHEN DO I NEED TO CONFIRM MY PARTY SIZE?
We require that all party guest counts are confirmed 48 hours before the start of your event.

CAN WE BRING IN OUTSIDE MUSIC?
No, Bambara has an open floor plan and we need to maintain the ambiance for the whole space.

CAN WE BRING IN OUTSIDE FOOD AND DRINKS?
You cannot bring in outside food or drinks. Exceptions are made for desserts We have a $4.00 per person cake cutting fee
